Our First Sales Happened at a Coffee Shop

It didn’t happen in a fancy store.
It didn’t come from an ad or a launch event.
It happened at a coffee shop — with a table full of charms, two curious strangers, and a lot of heart.

We were sitting by the window, curating our very first collection. Mix-matching charms, experimenting with combinations, and snapping product photos right on the white tabletop (yes — the same ones you see in our product listings today!). We weren’t even officially open yet. No logo stickers. No packaging. Just ideas, joy, and a shared vision for something we believed in.

Next to us sat two people who couldn’t help but glance over. Eventually, they leaned in and asked, “What are you making?”
We told them — keychains that carry feeling. Charms that tell a story. Little things that speak to who you are.

They smiled. And then they stayed.

We talked about hobbies, design, and what makes something feel personal. And to our complete surprise, they didn’t just love the idea — they bought two charm sets right there on the spot:
– A tennis-themed charm with a mini court, racket, and ball
– A wizard-inspired set that sparked the imagination

But the best part? After they bought them, they clipped one of the charms onto their beloved dog’s collar — proudly, like it belonged there all along.

That moment meant everything to us.

No website. No official launch. Just curiosity, conversation, and connection. It was the first real sign that what we were building mattered to someone else.

Current Charm was never about chasing trends. It’s about joy in the details, the stories we carry, and the little things that bring us closer — to ourselves, to each other, and yes, even to our pets.

To those two strangers and their charming pup — thank you for being our very first customers. You’re part of our story forever.

Stay charming,
The Current Charm Team
